MEN signs framework agreements with the German Armed Forces

Metallwerk Elisenhütte GmbH (MEN) has concluded important contracts for framework agreements
for the supply of infantry ammunition with the German Armed Forces. These agreements mark a
decisive step towards improved planning security and long-term defence readiness.

The new framework agreements cover the supply of ammunition of various calibres, including
calibres, including 7.62mm x 51 soft core, 9mm x 19 soft core and 7.62mm x 51 in the belt ratio
3 soft core, 2 soft core tracer, which are intended for various German Armed Forces weapon systems.
Agreements currently still contain non-binding forecasts of the planned procurement
quantities, provide, however, an essential basis for future orders.

MEN is confident that these agreements will become firm orders in the coming years.
„With the signing of these framework agreements, mark a first but decisive step for the future of the
German Armed Forces in the field of infantry and for the security of the Federal Republic of Germany,“ says
Hermann Mayer, Managing Director of MEN. „We are optimistic that the call-offs for these framework
agreements will be made promptly and the orders for the next few years will be placed.“

The next important step in this process will be the determination of multi-year quantities
which will enable sustainable and strategic planning. This is essential in order to
optimally equip the German Armed Forces for future challenges and ensure
that it is ready for deployment at all times.
